Basic Income Petition in Germany

During last year’s summer I had the opportunity to get my head around the idea of basic income. We had some really hard discussions about it going on, but in the end I was actually pretty convinced of the idea. Most people may be afraid of the fundamental shift in society, but how to improve if you don’t dare? And it is better than Hartz 4 for sure.

At the moment, there is a petition at Bundestag going on demanding further investigations into this matter. You can sign it online here (until 17.02.09). It’s worth the 2 minutes.
